The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills the water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. Its mopping is quite good as well, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets.
